The Schwinn Airdyne Exercise Bike provides a complete exercise bike workout with both your arms and legs getting a workout.
The large fan in front of you generates a nice draft that cools you down during the workout, and you will find that as you increase your speed, the resistance increases as well. Based on experience, you will find that this set up with the large fan will create more noise than the magnetic current resistance, but the wind that the large fan generates is great for keeping cool!
The LED monitor keeps you updated in real time about your training.
The display shows you the time you have been training, distance travelled, calories burned, watts and heat rate.
The seat and handlebars are designed to be easy to move.
There is a 30 year warranty on the frame, a 3 year warranty on parts and electronics and a 1 year warranty on wear items and labour

The purchaser was very impressed with the overall quality of the Schwinn Airdyne. They loved the fact that the upper body also gets a workout, unlike the standard exercise bike.
Some people have had an issue with the assembly of the Schwinn Airdyne, but this reviewer said it was not at all difficult. They said that is is essentially already assembled – you just need to attach the pedals, seat, stabilizer, computer and finally the arms. They assembled it in about an hour – as they said just follow the instructions and you should be fine.
Rating of the Schwinn Airdyne - 4 stars
The reviwer had used an old version of the Schwinn Airdyne and wanted their own. They were most impressed with the comfort of the ride and the fact that you get a nice breeze from the big fan at the front – by the way, the faster you pedal, the great the breeze you get.
The reason they wanted the Schwinn Airdyne was the total body workout you get.
They also had no issue with the assembly. They did recommend that you follow the instructions though.

The next reviewer of the Schwinn Airdyne was not overally happy with the product.
The seat was not comfortable for them, there were a lot of noises from the frame creaking and the noise from the fan was off-putting. The problem with the noise from the fan is that you can not watch (I mean listen to) the tv or radio. The breeze is a great way to cool down, but it does come at a cost.
However, they did like the resistance generated by the fan, because the harder you pedal, the more resistance you get, kind of like when you are out on the road.
