The Schwinn 103, like the schwinn 103, uses a belt drive transmission and offers 16 levels of magnetic eddy current resistance.
In order to keep your workouts interesting, you get to choose from 17 workouts of which 12 programs are preset, 4 are based on your heart rate and you get to program one to your liking.
You get a graphical display of your course profile via the LCD monitor so you can see when the next hill is coming!
To assist with monitoring your workout, there is a heart rate sensor built into the handlebars, and you get a reading on the LCD monitor. The LCD monitor displays a range of workout data such as current speed, distance travelled for the entire workout, time, as stated above your current heart rate and calories burned.
The seat and handlebars are easy to adjust which is very handy if you have more than one person using the exercise bike. You get an extra wide seat to assist with comfort.
